Jon Felts is a USGTF certified teaching professional and has been teaching golf in Elk Grove California since 2005. Jon didn’t pick up a golf club until the age of 25. In two short years Jon became a self-taught scratch golfer, winning 8 of 15 local club tournaments including his club championship in 2005. That same year, Jon graduated first in his class from the USGTF certification program and began teaching golf. Since then, Jon has also competed in professional mini-tour events such as the U.S. Pro Golf Tour and the Pepsi Tour.

Jon has exceptional knowledge of swing mechanics and an uncanny ability to spot flaws immediately. He has studied the teaching methods of all the great instructors and can relate the information to you from a “players” perspective. Having been self-taught through the trial and error method and a “feel” player, Jon can educate you on the advantages and disadvantages of every theory from the “stack and tilt” to the “one-plane” swing methods. Rest assured that however you are swinging the club now, Jon has been there before. Jon’s desire to help each and every student achieve their full potential is evident in every lesson.

Jon has given over 8,000 hours of instruction to players of all skills levels.
