The Golf Academy is an indoor training center dedicated to improving the quality of your game. It is our goal to provide you with all possible resources for improvement including private lessons, video analysis equipment, indoor golf simulation for year-round improvement, fitness programs, club repair, club fitting, custom club building, and even tournaments so you can set goals and achieve them. Teaching Method
The Golf Academy teaching method is very simple. Students are diagnosed by their instructor with the use of video if necessary, educated on the proper methods, and informed how to practice. The best lessons are those in which the student has ample time to practice using the equipment before the session is over.
It has been said that no one has ever truly “mastered” the golf swing and this is true since there is always room for improvement. Being educated on the proper methods is not enough, our body must also be trained. Only through proper training will your new understanding of the swing take shape.
Lesson Structure
Video is used to diagnosis any technique issues. Your instructor will point out any errors and inform you of more reliable methods if necessary. You will also be instructed on how to practice in order to improve in the fastest way possible. Ideally, you will have time to practice during your lesson using the equipment available at The Golf Academy. Video Playback, Workstations, Training Aids, Simulators, and Launch Monitors are invaluable tools when practicing and are all provided for you to train with.
